The #1 Bestseller of All Time!
So you've heard of the Bible. Maybe you know a lot about it. Maybe you can even catch allusions to it in your classes. Maybe, though, just maybe, you've never actually read any of it. Maybe now's the time to change that.
The Bible is a big book. In fact, it's lots of smaller books in one binding. So where should you start? You could start at the beginning, on page 1, with the story of the creation of the world. You could start in Psalm 23 with the part that starts "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want."
We suggest you start in the book called "Luke." This section starts with a story that may be familiar; it's sometimes called the Christmas story. Why should you start there? Well, it's a great story, for one thing. It's also the visible start of a very important part of human history, the birth of Jesus Christ. Some people claim Jesus was a great moral teacher, others think he was a prophet, and some write him off as a liar or even a madman. Many call him Savior and Lord. Start reading the story of his life in Luke 1 and decide for yourself!
If so, you're in luck. We have lots, and we like giving them to people. Just send us a message including your Hinman Box number and we'll be happy to send you one.
