The Bible:

The #1 Bestseller of All Time!

student reading bible

So you have heard of the Bible. Maybe you know a lot about it. Maybe you can even catch allusions to it in your classes. Maybe, though, just maybe, you have never actually read any of it. Maybe now is the time to change that.

The Bible is a big book. In fact, it is a collection of lots of smaller books in one binding. So where should you start? You could start at the beginning, with the story of creation, but we suggest you start in the book called "Luke". Luke starts with a story that may be familiar. It is sometimes called the Christmas story. Why start in Luke? Besides being a great story, it is the visible start of a very important part of history. The Birth of Jesus Christ. Some say Jesus was a great teacher, others think he was a prophet, and some write him off as a liar or even a madman. Many call him Savior and Lord. Start reading the story of him life in Luke and decide for yourself!
